The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently browsing the Fernie 2 Local community Hall in Mpuluzi to render expert services on the community.

SASSA will likely be rendering solutions including new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer treatment enquiries, as well as the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a press release, the agency claimed it's alarmed regarding the high range of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The purpose from the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to read more reach-out to your large range of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is often a result of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no totally functional office focused on service the area regularly. The service level designed for intervention ordeals a substantial influx of potential beneficiaries, which makes it hard for that Workplace to attend to all people who take a look at a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise extra means to help the servicing of all customers and increase access to Social Assistance solutions,” the agency said.
